Part 1: General Terms
1. The Rayd Model
Rayd is a specialized technology platform facilitating Dine-in and Takeaway bookings. Our unique model ensures users pay the Actual Physical Menu Price directly to the restaurant. Rayd acts solely as a software facilitator; we do not mark up prices, take commissions on food, or handle food revenue.
2. Limitation of Liability
Rayd does not prepare, handle, or deliver food. The Restaurant Partner is solely responsible for the quality, safety, and preparation of all food items. Rayd is not liable for any health issues, allergies, or dissatisfaction arising from the food consumed.
Part 2: Customer Addendum
1. Payments & Booking Fee
- ● Platform Booking Fee: Users must pay a non-refundable ₹25.00 Booking Fee via the Rayd App to confirm an order. This is the only payment processed by Rayd.
- ● Food Payment: The total cost of the food items must be paid by the User directly to the Restaurant Counter at the time of pickup or dining.
2. Zero-Tolerance "No-Show" Policy
We value the efforts of our restaurant partners and the sanctity of prepared food.
If a User fails to arrive at the restaurant to fulfill their order after the food has been prepared, their Rayd Account will be permanently suspended. There are no warnings; the first "No-Show" results in an immediate and final ban from the platform.
3. Dine-in to Takeaway Conversion
While Rayd facilitates Dine-in bookings, if the restaurant’s physical capacity is full upon arrival, the Partner reserves the right to convert the order into a Takeaway. The booking fee remains applicable for the platform's processing service.
Part 3: Restaurant Partner Addendum
1. FSSAI Compliance
All Restaurant Partners must maintain a valid FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) License. If a license expires or is revoked by authorities, the Partner's account will be immediately suspended until a valid renewal is uploaded and verified.
2. Menu & Pricing Accuracy
Partners are strictly required to upload clear photos of their Actual Physical Menu Cards. Digital designs are not accepted. The prices charged to Rayd customers at the counter must match the uploaded physical menu exactly. Price mismatches reported by customers will lead to immediate account review and potential suspension.
3. Financials & Commission
Rayd charges 0% commission on food sales. The Partner retains 100% of the bill value and is solely responsible for collecting payment directly from the customer at the outlet. The Partner is exclusively responsible for the collection and remittance of all applicable taxes (including GST) to the government.
4. Operational Shifts
Partners agree to accurately maintain their operating hours and shifts within the Rayd Partner Portal and are expected to honor all bookings received during their active operational hours.
