At Rayd, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal and business data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect information across both the Rayd Customer App and the Rayd Partner App.

1. Information We Collect

For Customers (Users):

  • Authentication Data: Mobile number verified via Firebase OTP.
  • Profile Data: Name and optional profile photo.
  • Activity: Order history, restaurant preferences, and "No-Show" violation records.

For Restaurant Partners:

  • Business & Owner Details: Owner name, official email, and mobile number.
  • Location Data: Precise GPS coordinates to map the restaurant for customers.
  • Legal & Operational Documents: FSSAI License numbers, FSSAI document images, and physical menu card photos.

2. How We Use and Share Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is used exclusively to operate the Rayd ecosystem:

  • Public Display: Restaurant Partner profiles (name, location, menu, operating hours) are publicly visible to all Users on the Rayd platform.
  • Order Fulfillment: When a User makes a booking, their Name and Phone Number are shared securely with the specific Restaurant Partner to facilitate food pickup or dine-in service.
  • Compliance: Partner FSSAI documents are stored securely to ensure adherence to government food safety regulations.
  • Platform Security: User booking history is monitored strictly to enforce our zero-tolerance "No-Show" policy.

3. Payment Security

All platform payments (such as the Customer Booking Fee) are processed securely via our payment gateway, Razorpay. Rayd does not store your Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI details on our servers. All financial transactions are handled on encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant gateways. (Note: Rayd does not process or handle food revenue between the Customer and the Partner).

4. Data Deletion & Contact

Users and Partners have the right to request the deletion of their accounts and personal information. Upon request, all data will be permanently erased, except for records we are legally required to retain (such as transaction logs or FSSAI compliance history).
